For the past several months, I’ve been exploring different ways to continue my journey toward becoming a doctor. One option that keeps coming up is a Caribbean med school, and I’m seriously considering it after hearing a few encouraging success stories. At the same time, I know every student’s experience is unique, and I’d rather learn from people who have actually lived it. If you attended a Caribbean medical program, what do you wish someone had told you before your first day? Looking back, would you still make the same decision knowing everything you know now?
